It all begins with an idea. To some, it may not make any sense, but to others, it doesn’t have to as long there’s a challenge involved. The TrailBike-4-Paulie is precisely that, a challenge. 345 miles of beautiful historic trails starting from Pittsburgh, PA, at The Point State Park, where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers converge, forming the great Ohio River. Your journey will begin riding along the Youghiogheny River to Connellsville, PA. The ride continues through historic Ohiopyle on the GAP Trail over the Eastern Continental Divide to Frostburg, MD. The next stage of your adventure will say goodbye to the GAP Trail and hello to the C&O Trail in historic Cumberland, MD. This portion of the trip will not lack majestic views as you are surrounded by the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. You will depart Hancock, MD, and enter back into time as you work your way onto the cobblestone streets of Harper’s Ferry. Making your way to the final leg of your journey will take you over the Blue Ridge and the Appalachian Mountains finishing along the Potomac river. Entering the Nation's Capital at Mile Marker 0, where you will be able to see Paulie’s former apartment. Top it all off with a baseball game and some cold beers to make the finish much sweeter!
