The Paul G. Lefavi Scholarship:

This foundation is dedicated in the honor and memory of our good friend, Paul Lefavi, better known as Paulie. For those of you that don’t know Paulie, he was a devoted member of our community. Whom you would often see roaming the town with his beloved dog, Radar. Paul, originally a New Yorker, moved south and fell in love with the Downtown Stuart community. After years of establishing his name and reputation throughout the community becoming known for a large supporter of local gyms, restaurants, bars, shops and rental units along the water. Also the town’s ‘bridge keeper of lights’ for he watched over the Roosevelt Bridge as a beacon of our community. Paulie was diagnosed with Mantel Cell Lymphoma and succumbed to this cancer on November 26, 2019. In his memory we have partnered with his former employer and “2nd home”, Indian River State College (IRSC.) The local college has supported many students throughout the years and it is our obligation to give back, just as Paulie had. Our goal is to raise as much money throughout the year to present to IRSC at the end of the calendar year to be awarded to a student(s) in receiving scholarship funds. Join US to celebrate one great man. One who gave so much. One who is loved so much. One who is missed so much.
